Summary/Abstract: The aim of this article is to present the range and form of action of the Universities of the Third Age and the profile of the students in comprehensive development of elderly people. The subject of general analysis constituted Universities of the Third Age in Lower Silesia in particular two departments UTA which work within University of Economics in Wrocław. The students of these departments were identified in terms of social and demographic features, value system and attitude and behavior which further the activity in late adulthood.
