Summary/Abstract: The child’s private interior is one of the least explored pupil settings. The complexity and difficult accessibility of the child’s private interior are burdensome on research in itself. Still more problems are caused by the application of trans-domain inter-branch methodological approaches and different points of view of individual sciences and arts on the same subjects of research. The complexity of the child’s private interior requires the creation of a theoretical operating model to show the interpretation possibilities of the subject of research and to reveal the interpretational multiplicity of the subject’s contextuality. The core of the problem is revealed through theoretical generalisations and insights and rests on two empirical case studies. Inasmuch as the child’s private interior research is complex, it can only be carried out in extensive studies; therefore, rarely applied approaches, visual and media ecologies specifically, have been selected.
