Summary/Abstract: This paper examines the proportion between borrowed and non-borrowed words in Slovene dialects. The vocabulary is presented through linguistic geography, while lexical maps of Slovene dialect vocabulary from the semantic fields of 1) ‘human body’, 2) ‘family’ and 3) ‘friends’ show the spatial distribution of lexemes in Slovene dialects.
