The Quality of Life of Seniors in the Age of Globalization

Summary/Abstract: Quality of life is the area which –in the changing circumstances and on each stage of life-need monitoring. Our society is aging at an alarming rate. There are more nursing houses, more old age people which live there, than is necessary make diagnosis the quality of life this people. In our research we comparison quality of life the people living in their own houses, in the Family and living in nursing houses the different region of Poland. The result show that quality of life is higher in the case of persons living in their family homes. This regularity is more characteristic by the men. The highest quality of life in persons living in their family homes was observed in the case of subjective  and psycho‐social spheres and additionally – in the case of men – in a physical sphere.
