Summary/Abstract: Serbo-Romanian cross-cultural relations during the sixties and seventies of the last century, have intensified due to the cultural and personal relations between Romanian and Serbian poets who gave birth to an avant-garde movement called clocotrism. The mentor of this movement is the Serbian poet, Adam Puslojić, who brought more writers and artists together from southeastern Europe in Belgrade to assist in establishing the clocotristic literary and artistic conception. He has initiated and maintained those relations, by his many-sided artistic, cultural and friendly approach to Romanian artists. The main mode of manifestation of clocotrism is presented in an avant-garde way, through performances called situations or situactions. Apart from the Serbian clocotrists, the Romanian artists are the most numerous, being part of different generations of 20th century, especially authors, poets and painters, sculptors, directors, literary critics, etc., who participated in certain literary meetings in Belgrade. The second part of the paper is dedicated to the concept of word and refuge in Romanian literature in Serbia. The two authors, Mariana Dan and Carmen Dărăbuș come with two different conceptions, but which are based on the rich Romanian-Serbian cultural and literary relations in the second part of the last century.
