Summary/Abstract: Motamid’s character has been present in our Spanish literature through the centuries. The play of Blas Infante regains his poetic spirit, identified with nationalism Andalusian solidarity, and is linked in a special way with another book written by Infante, Andalusian nationalist leader in the first half of the twentieth century, in the same period: The Pedagogical Dictatorship.
