Summary/Abstract: The author makes a diplomatic edition of the medieval Slavonic translation of the Homily on the feast of the Annunciation (ascribed to St. John of Damascus) as attested in Vladislav the Grammarian’s manuscript dated 1479 (kept in Rila Monastery, no. 4/8). She characterizes the orthography of this copy and discusses the following features of the translation: the compound words and possessive pronouns as well as the names (epithets) of the Theotokos.
