The aim of the research was to learn about points of view and plans of childless, unmarried, mature women for single motherhood by choice. In the research, I used one of the varieties of case study, this is biographical method. Material was collected through modified technique of an autobiographical and narrative interview. The results of the research showed that factors, which led the women to consider conscious single motherhood were: the death of their parents and fear for the future, experiencing loneliness and no sense of life and also feeling maternal instinct. The ideas of interviewed women to become mothers were: using sperm bank, dating men they already know, or setting in a passionate romance with a stranger with procreative purposes. One of the most important postponed maternity problems is a lack of support in childcare from grandparents.
