Summary/Abstract: Since in Romania the issues related to properties inventory are still far from being resolved, the present work, which is based on the authors' experience, synthesizes this domain's main aspects, both in terms of the evolution of cadastral activity over time, as well as in what concerns some malfunctions, notions and terms incorrectly defined and specific suggestions for future improvement of these activities.
