Summary/Abstract: The Ottoman Empire, living in its most glorious period in the 16th century but starting to pause at the end of the century, was in a difficult situation with great losses in its first years in the 20th century. The Balkan wars (1912-1913) that followed the revolt against the Ottoman Empire of the Balkan nations as a result of the Russians' provocations following the war of Trablusgarp (1912) and the Balkan wars that followed and the Mondros Truce signed on October 30, 1918 after the defeat in World War I (1914-1918) one step closer to the demolition of the Ottoman Empire .The army is demobilized, the weapons are seized in country, the defense force was completely broken. The people were tired of the overturned war, their confidence in the state was shaken and they lost their hopes for the future. The power to pass them back to action is the “efe’s” leaded by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. They also lead to bringing together the people who were in public and who were oppressed and who were beside the oppressed. After the armistice, when the anatolian occupation was started to be established in various parts of the country, Yörük Ali Efe, Demirci Mehmet Efe, Gökçen Efe, Kıllıoğlu Hüseyin efe etc. are brought to power as leaders of ”Kuvayımilliye”. The one who drives them in this way is the Volunteer Officers of the scattered army and members of the “Ittihat ve Terakki”, full of homeland love.
