Summary/Abstract: The subject of the relationship between school and democracy is one that was widely discussed in recent years. This shows us its need and on the other hand the difficulty of its implementation. We will see in this article a brief presentation of the evolution of this concept, and its implications for today. It is important to understand that between school and society there is a two-way relationship. School shapes society, but society shapes school. The implementation of democratic principles at school level will provide a framework in which students will be able to rely on these principles, promote and help develop the world in which they live.
