Summary/Abstract: This paper is concerned with kinematics analysis of sport technique of two young female gymnasts, members of Czech Republic junior team. Aim of the study was to compare kinematic variables that governed success of the “Tsukahara” picked vault performed by two young female gymnasts with early studies. Filming was conducted using a 2D digital camera Panasonic NV-MX500EG. Shutter speed was set to 1/500s. Position of camera was perpendicular to vaulting table. Data was digitized using the SIMI MOTION software. Cohen's coefficient d was used to compare changes in mean of each analyzed variables. Results of study enable to determined errors in chosen kinematics variables and sport technique. Sport biomechanics could improve sport technique, training and minimize injuries.
