Summary/Abstract: This paper is based on a literature review of scientific studies in the field of biomechanical analysis of rotational movement in gymnastics. Th e paper identifies the key biomechanical variables of rotational movement and the main conclusions are given to research studies in the field of biomechanical analysis and control of rotation movement in gymnastics with a focus on discipline vault. The aim of this paper is to present an overview of scientific papers and studies dealing with biomechanical research in artistic gymnastics, focusing on the rotation movement during vault.
