Summary/Abstract: The quality of education corresponds to the qualifications of teachers facing challenges of a permanent nature. A fact regulated by the State Educational Standard for the status and professional development of teachers, principals and other pedagogical specialists. It (the standard) creates prerequisites for enhancing the authority and social status of teachers, establishing a system of continuing qualification, for professional development and career development. These prerequisites are the answer to today‘s challenges for the quality of education.
