Summary/Abstract: The paper is devoted to the problems of lexical paronymy in the aspect of teaching Russian as a foreign language. The paper examines the verbal single-root paronymic lexemes of the Russian language and their equivalents in the Bulgarian language. The relevance of the study is due to the processes of globalization and intercultural dialogue, as well as the concomitant problems of reducing the language culture. Linguistic and didactical difficulties of paronymy and its teaching in the Bulgarian audience are due to the phenomenon of inter-linguistic homonymy. Among the system errors in the study of the Russian language, there is a mixture of paronyms as a violation of lexical normativity. We provide a generalized table of the use of paronymic verbs, which analyzes intergenerational equivalents.
