Summary/Abstract: A harmonic language in concertos by Bosnian and Herzegovinian composers includes issues concerning the wide-ranging harmonic systematization at different levels. It is related to the vertical and horizontal dimension of these concertos, the application of different harmonic progressions and the states of tonality, and the like. This article provides an overview of the new techniques and composing processes that Bosnian composers apply in their concertos In their concertos, Bosnian composers are selecting and combining certain new techniques (technique of extended tonality, serial technique and cluster technique) and composing processes (repetition) that become characteristics of their individual style.
