Summary/Abstract: Leader is the person who influences and directs people for the realization of the aims of the organization and provides coordination in the organization (Özsalmanlı, 2005: 137). It is possible to talk about an effective leadership if the leaders can influence the culture or create a common culture (Tierney, 1986: 677). With this research, it is aimed to determine the management style of the managers working in public, university and private hospitals and to determine the differences in the management style of the managers working in different organizational culture. In this study, it was seen that participants made different definitions about leadership perception and characteristics. It has been determined that the managers working in different institutions exhibit different leadership styles.
