Summary/Abstract: Nowadays, the study of concepts in language is one of the perspective directions inlinguistics. The relevance of this theme is determined by enhanced development of linguocultural studies of the conceptual spheres of national culture of phraseological units.In a time of intensive cross-cultural relations we are witnessing the scene when every nation is open to the perception of other nation`s cultural experience and at the same time theyare ready to share the products of their own culture. Such an appeal was called “interaction ofculture” or “cross-cultural communication”.Recently, the humanity’s special attention is paid to the relationship of language and culture, language and national mentality, language and thinking. In almost all scientific spheres,researches of philosophy, sociology, culturology, linguoculturology the term “concept” is gaining popularity. Nowadays, despite widespread use, the term “concept” is devoid of one specificdefinition, and in each of these spheres it gives its own interpretation. However, it should benoted that the concept is the main definition of cognitive linguistics.In this paper, we are interested in concepts of the language image of the world, in particular, in the phraseological picture of the world. The study is devoted to phraseological concepts, reflecting the modern Russian, English and Georgian mentality. We have identified thephraseological concepts that emerged as a result of the expansion of modern internationalcontacts and Intercultural Communication of active interaction and mutual influence of theselanguages and their cultures.The phraseological concepts presented by us reflect modern professional spheres of humanactivities, such as politics, economics, military cooperation, medicine, theater, science, society/ showbusiness.A wide range of examples which are presented in this article makes it possible to establisha fact of existence of common phraseological units, in the languages, that are the result of intercultural contacts and international cultural exchange.On the basis of the foregoing, the conclusions reached may be summarized as follows: notonly the representatives of ethnic groups, but also each social group is characterized by specific particularities of mentality; the research found phraseological concepts that reflect andexpress mentality of modern Russian, English and Georgian languages, which are the productof the expansion of contemporary international contacts, mutual influence and close interaction of these languages and their cultures
