Summary/Abstract: Serbian sociology of religion has already got a long tradition, which started with the studies by Slobodan Jovanović and Slobodan Žarković, over the textbook contribution of Vuko Pavićević, reaching its maturity in the works of Đuro Šušnjić. In the last two decades, following that lead, it has been improved by the middle – Dragoljub B. Đorđević, Milan Vukomanović, and Zorica Kuburić – and younger generation of sociologists of religion (Mirko Blagojević, Danijela Gavrilović, Dragan Todorović, Dragana Radisavljević Ćiparizović...).
