JUVENILES AS OFFENDERS CRIMINAL OFFENSES EXTORTION IN REPUBLIC OF SERBIA

Summary/Abstract: Juveniles are as a separate category in the criminal justice initially meaning different from the adult offender for its biological, social and psychological characteristics, and thus enjoy special treatment in both its procedural and penal determinations, as well as in terms of punishment and protection. Very often, unfortunately, happens to minors "stray from the right path" and are easy to identify in what other behavior that deviates from the normal social values and which can be regarded as a social deviant. This behavior of juveniles considered first their personalities, their environment, society and the community, but it is also a potential means of recruitment as well as adults in the category of social deviation. The author analyzes the juveniles as perpetrators of serious crimes and extortion as a form of their deviations, and deviations of the entire society. First be made to analysis with regard to the position of the minor to the the criminal justice sense, which refers to the determination of their legal age norms, and a law that regulates them, and incriminations criminal extortion according Criminal Code of Serbia, to the analysis of the general to the special contribute to the explanation of the representation of the minor in the commission of those crimes previous and methods of qualitative and the quantitative explanation. The author draws conclusions on the participation of minors in the commission of these offenses, both as direct perpetrators of adult perpetrators for their lenient punishment, and under the influence of criminal milieu to which they belong or want to belong to what is subsumed under punishable legal reaction, but under the unacceptable and deviant social phenomenon.
