Summary/Abstract: The article purports to present the alternative constructs of the city domain in written assignmentsby third-graders. Different representations of the domain serve as a starting point for the reconstruction of children’s dream cityscape. That said, they also give an insight into their inner world, and as such the values and cultural preferences expressed in paraliterary texts. My focus is on thepoint of view of the children: they are described not only as experiencing selves, but also as mirrorsof both external worlds and the inner worlds they have created.
