Summary/Abstract: In the scope of my article, I have explored the issue of circumvention of Technological Protection Measures on mobile phones. The issue has been divided into three technologically and legally separate sections. Those are unlocking, jailbreaking and Custom ROM flashing. Due to immanent lack of literature and sources concerning this new phenomenon, I have often stated my „de lege ferenda“ opinion and I have outlined some of the cases, which will most probably rise in the near future.
