Summary/Abstract: The article compares two variants of the song Advent, originally performed by the group Dead Can Dance, and then reproduced several years later in a new text dimension by the polish band Armia. This comparison takes into account the expanded contextual background, referring to the genealogies of both formations, intertextual/intermedia specificity of their works and exposing the axiological horizon realized in the titles and texts of the tracks.
