Summary/Abstract: This article deals with the analysis of private international rules for intellectual property rights. In the first part of this article we will analyze Brussels I Regulation. This Regulation contains rules on jurisdiction in case of alleged infringements of intellectual property rights. We will discuss recent case law of the Court of Justice of the EU. Conflict of law rules for intellectual property rights are contained in Rome II Regulation.
