Summary/Abstract: Modern society changes in accord with the recent developments in the sphere of information technology and the intensive communications worldwide.E-learning facilitates the access to information sources and enhances the acquisition of knowledge and skills. Additionally, blended learning combines traditional in-person classroom interaction with electronic learning and contributes to the achievement of optimal results in teaching both adults and children. Collaborative learning implemented in an electronic context creates the necessary conditions for the formation of an electronic learning community. Blended learning based on the principles of the action-oriented approach ensures the continuity of the learning process by overcoming the restrictions over the time, the place and the pace of work.
