Summary/Abstract: This paper presents the work of Slavist Vladimír Kyas in the paleobohemistic fi eld, especially in Old Czech Bible translation. Accompanied by letters dedicated to Josef Vašica and Bohuslav Havránek and by other archival material, it maps out efforts on the edition of the fi rst vernacular translation from the mid-14th century.
