Summary/Abstract: Availing themselves of the 1878 Berlin Congress, the Great Powers partitioned the Bulgarian nation. Macedonia was once again brought back under the yoke of the Turkish Sultan. A deep and bleeding wound was opened in Bulgaria's body and it is still not closed up till the present day.
