Summary/Abstract: In this paper, we aim to present the importance of the use of technology in the translation process within the European institutions, agencies and bodies, while underlining the absolute necessity for adaptation and revision of the Romanian academic translation curricula to meet the current and future needs of the translation market for the European institutions.
