Summary/Abstract: In this article author is offering a short overview of the philosophical history the logical concept of intuition, taking into consideration standpoints of Plato, Aristotle, Plotin, Augustine, Descartes, Kant, Schopenhauer and Loski. The aim of the paper is to point out the historical bases for a logical theory of the intuition of reason.
