Summary/Abstract: Merleau-Ponty examines original experience of the time situating its concept into pre-scientific experience of perception. Phenomenological investigation reveals a horizon of an immediate world of the corporeal experience which doesn’t recognize objective, exact time. In reference to that, the concept of synthesis is being conceived again. But such synthesis is the synthesis of corporeality as the synthesis of transition, whereby very divisibility of the time is questioned in another way. Following Husserl’s achievement in the description of time-consciousness, which is concretized by constitutive genesis, Merleau-Ponty maintains the standpoint which privileges present moment as well as the unity of time. Starting out from the concept of the present and self-presence, and from indirectly perceptive technological experience as well, certain tension within phenomenology poses new questions.
