Summary/Abstract: The following article is devoted to the implications of Wittgenstein’s attitude towards philosophy. I will examine the question whether his attitude is only negative, with the annihilation of philosophy as its logical consequence, or whether on the basis of this attitude a look at philosophy can be taken that would show that it makes sense to determine philosophy as a theoretical activity sui generis. Last but not least, proceeding from paragraph 121 from the Philosophical Investigations, I will consider the possibility of leaving the task of gaining a synoptic view of philosophical language-games to metaphilosophy as a specific discipline that avoids the identification with any philosophical standpoint.
