The language skills, which are one of the learning areas of Turkish education, are systematically laid out in pre-school period. For this reason, pre-school teachers need to be equipped to provide four basic language skills. For this purpose, early childhood education program should make the candidate of the undergraduate program proficient in terms of language skills. The aim of this study is to examine the content of the courses in early childhood education undergraduate program in terms of language skills. The document analysis method was applied in the qualitative research. The early childhood education undergraduate dated 16 May 2018 constitutes the study object of the research. Content analysis was performed to reach the data. The findings of the study showed that there are course contents that refer to language skills. However, none of these courses have any information about teaching language skills to preschool children. As a result of the study, it is concluded that the early childhood education undergraduate program does not contribute to teacher education in terms of the education of language skills.
