The Concept of Active Participation in the Thought and Practice of Maria Dudzikowa

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the text is to analyze the concept of active participation, which is one of the basic category present in the thought and practice of Maria Dudzikowa. I argue that active participation is, on the one hand, a prerequisite for the emergence of many culture-forming and personality-creative processes, and on the other, a clasp that covers these phenomena. The concept of active participation has opened a discursive, cultural field on which Dudzikowa found successive categories, giving the opportunity to realize a version of humanity, which was always the foundation of her thinking.
