Use of statistical indicators in controlling

Summary/Abstract: Increasing competition on the market and global financial crisis caused more and more companies to implement solutions from the field of controlling. The tools offered by controlling are supposed to protect the company from volatility of the environment. At the same time, however, static approach (among others static approach to budgeting) is put under the question and increasing expectations appear to change the approach into more dynamic. Therefore companies are required to produce multivariant budgets (multiscenario budgets). Possibilities given by statistical tools become extremely helpful in such a situation and this article aims to present some of them.
