Summary/Abstract: The information inflow, both from within and from the environment of the company necessitates collecting, processing and analysing of steadily growing data. The enterprise further development and operation depend on data dependent reasoning and decision making. It seems that conventional approach towards data processing and analysis does not function any more. Therefore businesses implement Business Intelligence systems. Using such instruments as data warehouses, OLAP as well as data mining technologies, these systems support financial controlling and yield information necessary for management of a company.
