Logistic controlling in passenger transport companies of PKS coach group

Summary/Abstract: The period of population decline, changes in customers’ preferences, ever growing competition – these are the changes that take place on the market of passenger transport. As a result of the above mentioned changes big transport companies start losing their market position when competing with small and medium-size companies. The author of this paper, basing on the market research, has suggested the implementation of the logistic controlling to improve the logistic operations of big carriers. The suggested alterations will allow to increase the competitiveness of services offered by these companies to customers.
