Competitiveness of big hauliers from PKS group in regional passenger transport

Summary/Abstract: Demographic low, changes in customers’ preferences, ever growing competition – these are the changes that regional passenger transport market faces. As the result of the above mentioned changes big transport companies start losing market position when competing with small and medium-size companies. The authors of this paper, basing on the market research, have suggested some basic courses of action to improve the operations of big carriers. The suggested alterations will allow to increase the competitiveness of services for individual customers offered by these companies.
