Summary/Abstract: The article discusses the issue of modern solutions in the field of city logistics in public transport. The aim of the article is to present innovative logistic solutions supporting the transport system of urbanized urban areas. In the article conducted a review of Polish and foreign scientific literature. Verification and evaluation of practical implementations in the field of urban logistics have been made to improve the functioning of transport systemsin cities. The article proposes innovative methods of managing public transport supported by intelligent transport systems.
