Summary/Abstract: Siła Zanussiego polegała na tym, że nie stawiał kropek nad „i”. Podejmował i podejmuje w swoich filmach tematy filozoficzne, teologiczne, egzystencjalne i eschatologiczne. Artysta nie ukrywa, że jest katolikiem, ale nie indoktrynuje, nie wyrywa chwastów, z dystansem patrzy na symbiozę sacrum i profanum.
