Summary/Abstract: The third general assembly of the Ljubljana workers' educational association "Vzajemnost" on March 24, 1912, was, at the same time, the foundation assembly of "Vzajemnost" for Upper Camiola which, already in that autumn, numbered over 1300 members in 16 branches. In the spring of the following year the association was dissolved due to a lecture given bo Ivan Cankar in which the witer advocated a federative Yugoslav republic. The "Vzajemnost" associations were very active and contributed to the awakening of class consciousness and to the cultural level of the workers.
