The profitability of an investment project in agritourism

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article was to present the profitability of investment in a farm agritourism farm located in a random poultry district located in the Pułtusk poviat. The research was carried out in January 2017 with a randomly selected service provider conducting agritourism activity in the Gzy commune (the Pułtusk poviat). The study uses the method of a diagnostic survey and its techniques an interview questionnaire. The profitability of investment projects in agritourism can be calculated using various methods. The most popular and the most versatile ones include discount methods for assessing investment ideas. Using the return period method, it can be noticed that the planned investment in agritourism in the Gzy commune should be paid within a period of not more than 4 years.
