Summary/Abstract: The term “bioeconomy” – just as “sustainable development” – quickly found enthusiasts among theorists and practitioners due to the fact, that it is a new approach to economic development, not through the prism of inavoidable losses in the environment and a gradual deterioration of raw materials, because, it occurs that there can be effective functioning without negative consequences for people and the environment. This is the continuation of the existing production processes with such a difference, that it happens in a sustainable way and in many instances – using brand new technologies aiming at minimizing the consumption of natural resources and impact on the environment with a view to future generations. It concerns the maximum compliance of developing actions with absorbent abilities of natural and anthropomorphised ecosystems.
