Summary/Abstract: Abdi lived in XVI. century. Although presented works to the sultans of his age –Selim II and Murad III- he could not become famous enough and thus could not find an appropriate position for himself in literary sources. Mathnawi called “Gül ü Nevrûz” by this poet who wrote one divan and four mathnawies. He wrote this mathnawi at Sultan Murad III’s request. This work is a love story with a happy ending. It is made up of 2320 couplets and its only hand-written copy ise recorded in Manisa Public Library at number 2714. This works will be given information about music terms that are writed in mathnawi.
