Summary/Abstract: There are national and international economic regulations around the airlines. These regulations affect market entry, capacity, price of the product and the management functions of airlines. In this study the evolution of economic regulations market entry, capacity and price concerning Turkish domestic airlines market are examined. On the other hand, the economic regulations which are unique to Turkish Airlines Market are also revealed and examined. In this study, it is realized that the most changing item is market entry regulations. Consequently, related regulations and variations of them are analyzed from the point of the existence of high barriers to entry. Finally the effects of the aforementioned regulations and the variations of them are examined from the point of airlines management.
