Summary/Abstract: The article is devoted to theoretical considerations related to the use of InterCorp parallel corpus in the translation lexicography. It provides a description of text resources and specificity of particular linguistic models of paralel corpora: Polish, Czech and Russian. As well as this, advantages and disadvantages of bilingual paralel corpora (Polish-Czech, Polish-Russian and Russian-Czech) are discussed. Theoretical issues focus mainly on translation equivalence and its criteria in reference to the corpus resources including mostly translations. The study proves increasing usability of the InterCorp parallel corpus in translation lexicography.
