Summary/Abstract: In this study, the movie İşe Yarar Bir Şey (Something Useful, Pelin Esmer, 2017) is analyzed by using the concepts of Deleuze’s motion and time image in film. The purpose of the study is to examine the place of Pelin Esmer in the classifications of motion picture and time image cinema. In this work, which deals with the relationship between journey, time and motion, within one of the examples of contemporary Turkish cinema, it is emphasized that Deleuze offers links that can provide the characteristics of the cinematic structure that he defines as a visual cinema and enable us to explore the connection points between the transcendental and the subcultural philosophical tradition. It is also stated that in the film, the heroin has transformed into a realistic reality because he is actively involved in helping to pass through an active life stage and producing solutions.
