Summary/Abstract: The article presents a chapter from a master’s thesis entitled Whenever You Start Writing, Everything Becomes Fiction: Strategies and Tools ofDramaturgs’ – Between Experience and Recording. From a first‑person perspective, the author describes the experience of working on the performance #The Rape of Lucrece produced as a diploma project by fourth‑year students in the Faculty of Acting at AST National Academy of Theatre Arts in Krakow. The starting point for the process describedby the author is William Shakespeare’s narrative poem The Rape ofLucrece and the #metoo movement. The author describes in detail the collective process of work on the performance, focusing on the problems of fetishisation and aestheticisation of sexual violence against women, reproduction of violent patterns in classical texts of culture and their theatrical realisations, as well as relations of power prevailing in the university.
