Summary/Abstract: The author presents the functioning of the Yugoslav administration and important events in the Koper region of Zone B, in the Julian March, in the first two years after the Second World War. The territory, which is today inhabited by both Slovenes and native Italians, formally belonged to the Italian monarchy (republic) at the time. In 1946, it was claimed by Yugoslavia at the peace conference between the allied forces and Italy.
