Summary/Abstract: The aim of this study is to examine the perceptions of organizational cynicism and job satisfaction of individuals working in private banks and state banks in terms of different variables. 278 bank employees were included in the study. 43.9% of the participants were female (n = 122) and 56.1% were male (n = 156). A large proportion of the participants are employed in banks as bank teller, customer representatives and managers. For the purpose of the study, demographic information form, Minnesota Job Satisfaction Scale and Organizational Cynicism Scale were used. Data were analyzed using F test, t-test and Pearson correlation analysis in the research. According to the findings, the participants' perceptions of organizational cynicism were low, and the perception of overall job satisfaction was moderate. Gender, educational status, bank type, seniority and monthly income variables were found to be effective on the perception of organizational cynicism and job satisfaction of bank employees. It was determined that the perception of job satisfaction decreased as the perception of organizational cynicism increased. According to the results, some suggestions for both researchers and practitioners are presented.
