The language situation in Macedonia in the issues of the Macedonian Scientific Institute

Summary/Abstract: A review is made of the basic ideas in the documents of the Macedonian Scientific Institute in Sofia.published in the "Macedonian Review" and in other publications concerning the language dispute between R. Bulgaria and R. Macedonia namely the : "Open letter of the Macedonian Scientific Institute to the media*', "Statement of the macedonian Scientific Institute to the state institutions in Bulgaria", "Statement of the Macedonian Scientific Institute, Sofia on the Scopije induced language dispute", "Memorandum of the Macedonian Scientific Institute concerning the relations between R.Bulgaria and R. Macedonia", "Declaration of the Macedonian Scientific Institute , Sofia (on the meeting in Scopije on the 27.04.1998 of number of intellectuals organised by the Helsinki Committees of the two countries)", "Open letter to Mr. Kiro Gligorov, President of R.Macedonia by the Macedonian Scientific Institute from 23.07.1997", "Second open letter to Mr. Kiro Gligorov, President of R. Macedonia from the Macedonian Scientific Institute (on occasion of his statement in Shtip on 26.06.1998 and in one of the municipalities on the Albanian border in July this year)".
